project 365: week 85

November 10, 2010: Bennet and his friend, Abby, spent the morning playing at Marley Bounce Party. It was the first time we'd been, and he absolutely loved it. As a bonus, he took a much longer nap than normal that day! We've since been back for a birthday party, and Marley Bounce is still one of our favorite places. If you'd like to check it out with your kids, I'm running a giveaway for a Mini Mid-Week Bounce Party on the blog! Enter now!

November 11, 2010: Our pediatrician suggested buying a Bumbo Seat for Kennedy, to keep her off of the flat area on the back of her head. She seems to like it - and hopefully it's strengthening her neck muscles a little so she spends less time favoring her right side.

November 12, 2010: One of Bennet's new favorite things to do is to put on the Toddler Radio channel on Pandora Radio, and dance around the living room. He has fun doing it, and it wears down some of that two-year-old energy, so it's one of my favorite things to do, too!

November 13, 2010: Andrew and Bennet went to a Lowes Build and Grow Clinic to make a periscope! I can't say enough good things about the kids workshops at Lowes. We've been taking Bennet for a while now, and he really looks forward to it. Lowes even gives each kid a cute, little apron - and they get a patch to sew onto it each time they complete a project. It's a free program, and if you haven't tried it, I suggest taking your kids and checking it out!

November 14, 2010: Beanie's first attempt at eating carrots. I'd say she liked them more than squash, but less than apples and pears, which we started later in the week.

November 15, 2010: Bennet loves when Andrew gets home from work, and they can play around together. Some of B's favorite "Dada" activities include wrestling on the couch, dancing around the living room (as mentioned earlier in this post,) and playing soccer ball in the basement.

November 16, 2010: Just a small glimpse of the shenanigans that go on most nights at our dinner table. Toddlers definitely do not have table manners, and teething babies definitely cry a lot at the dinner table. These two sure do keep us laughing all the time.

It looks like dancing to Pandora is Andrew's favorite activity, not B's. Haha!
