The other morning we were unpacking stuff in the nursery and we got the hair-brained idea to put Sophie in the Baby Bjorn and see what she thought of it. She loved it...She even let Andrew carry her down the stairs in it and iron his shirt and she just sat there the whole time! So then, of course, we had to try out the Sling Rider, too...
She was also a huge fan. Poor little Sophie, she is so used to being "the baby." I don't know what she is going to do when a real baby moves in.

We are currently in the middle of a stand-off with her over her "upstairs pee pad." (Sophie pees on puppy pads in the house most of the time.) It was in the office, which is now the nursery, and finally last night we moved it into our room and shut the nursery door to try to make her learn to use it in our bedroom. Unfortunately when I woke up at 1 AM to go to the bathroom, I learned that she had peed on the bathroom rug in protest. I am trying not to strangle her because she is a smart little dog and she KNOWS where we moved her pee pad to...she just doesn't like it there because she likes privacy. I'm sure this is one of many stand-offs we'll be having with Sophie before she accepts that Bennet is the new boss around here!
