so tall.

Bennet and I went to a program today at the Pratt Library called "So Tall." Normally on Wednesday mornings, they do a program called "Mother Goose on the Loose," but this was a special guest person today. It was a wild time. Our friends Kiley & Dylan Fenn were there, along with their nanny, Ashley, and about 15 other pairs of mommies and babies/toddlers.

It was so much fun! We sang songs and did all kinds of hand motions and danced around and walked around in a circle singing. Bennet was mildly amused, but I think he liked the brightly colored carpet on the floor better. He stared at it pretty much the whole time like it was the most glorious thing he had ever seen.

Bennet has a newfound love for sitting on my lap and singing "pat-a-cake," but I was having a mental block on other songs with hand motions to sing with him. We now have under our belt "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes," "She'll be Coming 'Round the Mountain," "The Bear Went Over the Mountain," and "Five Little Monkeys" to name just a few. We can't wait until Daddy gets home so we can sing our new material to him.

Ahh! Terri, I'm so proud of you! You're such a great mom and you look so terrific! It sounds really stalker-ish, but once I found your blog I read all the old posts! He is an absolute doll baby! We have a little monkey too, but he's three now and a five year old. Hey, is Bennett still crying in the car? Daniel ALWAYS cried in the car. I never met another baby like him- it does end...XO Heather (Mied) Clark
