halloween.

Bennet is finally in bed and we are exhausted! We've had such a fun Halloween with him. As he gets older, celebrating holidays with him is becoming more and more fun. We figured that he would be a little more aware of what was going on this Halloween since he's a lot older than last year, but we had no idea just how much fun he would have!

Bennet wore his Brobee costume like a trooper, even though we had an unseasonably warm Halloween night this year! I know he had to be hot in that furry, green costume, but you would have never known it by how much fun he was having. He even kept his hat on most of the time!


We've given him candy before - an occasional lollipop or pack of m&ms here and there - but since it was Halloween, we threw caution to the wind and let him have as much candy as he wanted. His favorites were tootsie rolls and skittles. He begged for candy from the first bite of tootsie roll until we put all the candy away for the night. He loved it!

It was adorable to watch him running up and down our street, trick-or-treating with our neighbors. He loved picking his own candy out of their bowls and putting it in his bag. Some of our neighbors even got him special treats - his own container of teddy grahams and a teddy bear dressed as a pumpkin! We love our neighbors!


Bennet's second Halloween was a huge success! I love seeing our little boy get older and start to really have fun and enjoy holidays!
