On Saturday morning, we took Bennet to Donuts with Santa - an event that Andrew's work has every year for the children of their employees. It was lots of fun - donuts, kids crafts, games, a table with Christmas temporary tattoos (Bennet picked a glittery snowman for his forearm.) I was so impressed with Andrew's company for putting on such a wonderful event for kids. It will definitely become a part of our yearly Christmas tradition!

This was Bennet's first encounter this year with Santa Claus. Last year, he was only 7 months old, and he wasn't phased by Santa at all. He sat nicely on Santa's lap, and we got an adorable picture of him.


This year was a different story. Bennet is neither a fan of strange, old men or sitting still to have his picture taken. We put him on Santa's lap and he promptly pulled Santa's beard and began sliding off his lap. We did manage to get a quick photo, but I'm hoping to take him to the Santa House at the Harbor and try for a better one.


Hopefully we'll get luckier the second time around!
