December 2, 2009: Bennet got a very special package in the mail - his second Christmas ornament from Grammy Gale! Grammy Gale buys him a special ornament every year for Christmas - such a fun tradition!
December 3, 2009: I took Bennet for a haircut and he completely melted down. It was a nightmare. I had to physically restrain him while he screamed and cried. The poor stylist ended up having to use the clippers so she could do it as quickly as possible. Although it was a very bad experience, I love his new haircut! He looks so grown up with his short hair! I think we'll keep it this way from now on.
December 4, 2009: Bennet's pal, Ensley, came over to play. The boys had a great time playing with trucks and watching Barney.
December 5, 2009: Christmas Card Central! After several days of hard work addressing envelopes and putting cards together, the Christmas cards were finally finished! We just need to buy stamps and get them in the mail!
December 6, 2009: Fighting off bronchitis is a hard job! Andrew took care of Bennet all day so I could spend the day on the couch, snuggling with Sophie and trying to get better. I have such a wonderful husband!
December 7, 2009: Wrestling around on the couch with Daddy before bedtime.
December 8, 2009: When we went grocery shopping this week, Bennet picked out a box of fruit snacks that included some fruit roll-ups. He got to try his first one at dinner. He loved it. Mmm, sugar!
