December 16, 2009: Our little girl turned 5! Sophie got dressed up in a pretty dress, and had a dinner of chicken tenders - her favorite! We even put a candle in them and sang Happy Birthday to her.
December 17, 2009: Andrew and I at his work Christmas dinner. We got to hang out with his co-workers and eat dinner at Red Star, one of our favorite Baltimore restaurants!
December 18, 2009: One of Bennet's baby sitters, Tiffany, lives next door to a neighborhood restaurant we sometimes have dinner at. After dinner, we spent some time checking out Tiffany's inflatable Pooh and Tigger Christmas decorations.
December 19, 2009: A blizzard in Baltimore! We woke up to 8 inches of snow on the ground and, as the day progressed, ended up with almost two feet! This is definitely not typical weather for December. Here, Bennet checks out the falling snow from the warmth of the living room.
December 20, 2009: Two feet of snow, and Bennet hated every inch of it. We quickly put away our dreams of sledding and building snowmen with him. Maybe next winter.
December 21, 2009: Bennet and I met Gram and Mommom for lunch. We were all talking and enjoying our lunch when we looked over to see Bennet had abandoned his spoon and was eating his yogurt with his hands! I guess it was too yummy to be slowed down by a spoon.
December 22, 2009: Since the sidewalks are covered in snow, we've been having to walk down the middle of our street to get to our cars. Here are Andrew and Bennet walking home from dinner tonight.
