project 365: week 65

June 23, 2010: Mmmm, crayons! We had dinner with my mom and grandma at a restaurant near our new house. We wanted to try it out, because it's within walking distance of where we'll be living. It's a little seafood place, and it was pretty good! Bennet liked coloring his place mat best of all.

June 24, 2010: We were planning to make Bennet a cheese quesadilla for dinner, and Andrew laid the last tortilla in the house on the kitchen counter while he cooked our dinner. Bennet stole it off the counter and we caught him sneaking around the house chomping on it! So much for quesadillas!

June 25, 2010: Bennet and I went to story time at Barnes & Noble, and then to Ikea for lunch with the Smiths. Ikea was running a "kids eat free" promotion, so we let them eat lunch there and then played in the kids area. Bennet and Ensley had a ball playing "night night" in all of the beds.

June 26, 2010: We love Port Discovery! They just opened a new Bob the Builder exhibit, and they invited members to a breakfast with Bob himself! The kids got goody bags, breakfast, and a chance to play in the new exhibit. Bennet had a lot of fun!

June 27, 2010: This is what happens when you take a nap at Grandma's and she gets you dressed when you wake up. Her explanation? "He wanted to wear them this way." Yikes.

June 28, 2010: Bennet and I stayed inside all day in our pajamas. We baked these cookies, that claimed to Jump Start Your Labor. I ate lots of them and they definitely did not work. They tasted great, though!

June 29, 2010: Since we were about to start showing our house to potential renters, we put a pretty citrus fruit centerpiece on the dining room table. Lemons are supposed to help you sell your home - hopefully they'll help us rent ours!
