cooking.com review and giveaway! - CLOSED

This giveaway is now closed.

I've always been a fan of online shopping, but I find that it simplifies life even more now that I'm the mommy of two. Sometimes, the very thought of running through a store, throwing items in my cart while Bean cries and/or Monkey throws a temper tantrum makes me break into a cold sweat. The more online stores I can find to stock up on the things my family needs - the better. Which is why, when I was recently approached to do a review of Cooking.com, I couldn't have been more excited! Cooking.com is a comprehensive, easy-to-use shopping site, where you can find anything you need for your kitchen - from stone bake ware to hand soap. When I visited Cooking.com's site, I was blown away by the variety of products they offer - bake ware sets, cooking DVDs, table linens, bar ware - you name it, it's there. Cooking.com is definitely more than just pots and pans!

I've been drooling over Rachael Ray's cookware line for quite some time now, and was happy to find some great sales on her bake ware at Cooking.com! Monkey is obsessed with pancakes, and I've been wanting a griddle pan for our stove to make our standing Saturday Morning Pancake Breakfast go a little more smoothly. I scored a Rachael Ray griddle pan for a great price. My pan arrived this afternoon, and I can't wait to make some pancakes for Monkey!

Orange cookware - one of my current obsessions!

Cooking.com impressed me with their large inventory of products, but I was also impressed with the ease of using their site. The product descriptions are very detailed, so you know what you're getting. Each product has a place for other Cooking.com customers to review it - something that really came in handy when deciding which griddle pan I wanted to buy. Their shipping rates are reasonable, and they were very detailed and up front about delivery dates for my item. It's refreshing to have a store give you an accurate date to expect your order! Not long after ordering, I received an e-mail with tracking information for my package. I love knowing the whereabouts of the things I buy online, as opposed to guessing where in the world your package is floating around.

A bonus to the Cooking.com website is their recipe section. I've already spent some time peeking around at their Thanksgiving recipes, trying to get some new ideas for this year's dinner. And, the best part is that Cooking.com recommends certain kitchen tools for your recipes - a look at Mexican recipes will lead to a tortilla press recommendation, search for a chicken recipe and you'll see some poultry shears that may be helpful - suggestions that help me be more efficient in the kitchen are always appreciated!

Cooking.com will definitely be a place I go to first for both my kitchen shopping needs, and for dinner recipe ideas! Mommies have to multi-task constantly - the more places I find that help me do that, the better!

My fabulous Rachael Ray griddle - thanks, Cooking.com!

Cooking.com has generously provided me with THREE prize packs to give away! Three lucky readers will receive the following:

- A Food Network "30 Minute Meals with Rachael Ray" DVD

I would love the "Nambe Rocks" cake plate/stand/knife. It's way more than I would ever pay for something like that, but it's gorgeous, and my cake stand got broken over the summer. And as per instruction, my email is erinjestep@gmail.com. :)
