i walked.

Today, on the 4-week anniversary of my severe back/ pelvic pain starting, I did something wonderful...I went for a walk in the park! My back has been feeling a lot better over the past few days, so with the weather being so wonderful today and Andrew being home from work early (due to dealing with a flat tire on his car,) it seemed like a good day to try out my legs again and go walking! We just went for a fast (as fast as I can walk, I should say) spin around the park, but the daffodils were blooming and the kids were out playing and the weather was so nice - I had forgotten how nice it feels to get out there and move around! Hopefully my back is taking a turn for the better and I'll be less debilitated and more able to get out and enjoy the nice weather. I was beginning to feel like a bit of a recluse!

On a side note, I listen to this great podcast called Pregtastic (which I highly recommend to any pregnant pals out there) and there is a girl on there who has been complaining about her severe back and pelvic pain for weeks & weeks and she finally had her little girl and she was definitely 10 pounds 1 ounce! Her doctor apparently told her that he knew she was a big baby, but didn't want to scare her, so he didn't tell her. She ended up having a c-section and all is well...but TEN POUNDS! She says her doctor said to her, "That explains your pelvic pain, huh?"

We're pretty much convinced that Bennet weighs 15 pounds. We have our 36-week ultrasound on April 4th, so we'll see how he's progressing then I suppose! Stay tuned for more news on our amazingly huge baby that is trying to fracture my pelvis.
