We are one of the few people I know who were privileged enough to get our hands on a Wii Fit when it came out last week. I had been really, really wanting one because I can't go back to the gym until I see the doctor in mid-June, and I can't get out of the house much with Bennet...so other than our daily walks, I wasn't getting as much exercise as I'd like. My dreamy husband (who you all know is wonderful) got up super early and was at Wal*Mart at 6 AM when they opened to buy me one. He got one of the last ones - YAY!
It is so so so much fun. It has yoga and strength training, and balance and aerobic exercises. (I am especially good at the hula hooping, step aerobics and rhythm boxing.) The only part that makes me want to die a little bit is that it tracks your weight & BMI for you and post-baby, my BMI is not what it used to be! When it weighs you, if you're overweight - it makes your Mii (a little cartoon character you use that you make to look just like you) really fat and says "Aww, that's obese!" It's a little disturbing, but I feel motivated to get myself and my Mii skinnier. I do, however, think there should be a way to tell it that I just had a baby 3 weeks ago and to give me a break! Oh well. : )
We have been having a great time doing all of the Wii Fit exercises. I need to start working on the yoga poses so I can get as good as Andrew at yoga. Andrew has been trying to work on his rhythm and tackle the aerobic exercises, but I'm still beating him!

I am glad for your wii fun! :) I am super jealous. That may be the Eslick's christmas present to each other :) we shall see :)
Uhm, once all things are good and settled with you and you want a night out and you can tear him from Grandma, please remember Auntie B would love to spend the evening with her boyfriend :)
Oh my gosh - I want one of each!! (a wii and the wii fitness)
Let me just add that it's pretty entertaining looking at this picture of Andrew trying to... umm... hoola hoop?
I have to agree with everyone else. I am super jealous and want a Wii. We got to play with one for like one night and I am hooked.
I have to say, I love that Andrew is still in his "work clothes."
