weight watchers - week 2.

I'm bummed. I stayed the same this week. I have no idea why because anyone who knows me knows I am really good at following the Weight Watchers plan and I followed it beautifully. I dare say I am doing the best I ever have done with following the plan because I am so desperate to get this baby weight OFF. I'm not eating anything fried, I'm eating lots of veggies, I'm staying within my points and barely touching my Flex Points. I just don't get it.

On a happier note, I did meet my goal of drinking all of my water - eight 8 oz. glasses per day every single day this week - yay for me! New Nalgene bottle, here I come!

Andrew thinks that the water-drinking could be the problem...that maybe my body isn't used to getting that much water and it doesn't realize yet that it is extra water and needs to be flushed out. Could it be water weight? I don't know. We'll see next week, I guess.

Today is my 6-week check-up with Dr. Hunter, so provided she clears me for going back to the gym, my goal this week is to check off my activity box every single day. Some days, that may just be a 30-minute walk with Bennet, or 30-minutes on the Wii Fit...but 30 minutes of activity a day AT LEAST will be my goal for this week. On days I go to the gym, I hope to do more than that.

If I make it this week, my prize is going to be a new scale. I've been wanting either the Biggest Loser one or the Weight Watchers one. I'll have to do some research and pick the one I want. Wish me luck!

(On a side note, Jillian Michaels is making a Wii Fit game called "Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009" that comes out around the holidays. I cannot wait!)

Oh TT...remember your body is still doing so much changing after Mr. Bennet has arrived. You will get on track and find the right groove. HIT some of your flex points (no more than 5-10) and make sure to try and eat at least 4 times a day to speed up the metabolism! You can do it!

I totally think your body lags about one week so next week you will see the results. Keep up the good work for following the plan!

Also, I really want a Wii now after hearing your reviews.

Don't worry about the numbers... just be good with your food choices, and enjoy being active. That Wii-Fit looks amazingly fun by the way :)
