On Saturday, we headed over to Upper Fells Point (Is that what we're calling it now?) to the 300-block of South Chester Street for the Petrilli's Annual Block Party. This is always one of the highlights of our summer. I have never seen a city block go all out like these people do - a pool for the kids, DJ, tons of food, kegs, games, raffles - all kinds of fun!
I think this year may have been our favorite year yet - we got to take Bennet to what will be his first of many Chester Street Block Parties (He can't wait until he's big enough to get in that pool!) - and the weather was amazing! Not too hot, breezy, AND we had perfect seats under a tree in the shade. It was so much fun to catch up with old friends (Katie's pregnant!) and make new ones (I LOVE "Rocketpants.")
Yet another reason I love city life...BLOCK PARTIES.
Thanks so much to Alexander & Janel for another great year of block party fun!
