On Sunday, the Peters made their first appearance at the Baltimore Farmers Market so far this season. It is unacceptable that it took us until the end of August to make it there, since it is by far one of our favorite things to do in the city. It was Bennet's first trip, and he seemed to like it. Next time, we'll carry him in the Baby Bjorn (Andrew's carrier of choice) or the Sleepy Wrap (my carrier of choice) because it is too, too crowded for strollers - even sleek, city jogging strollers.
We have our own Farmers Market on Thursdays now at Tide Point, but is nowhere near on the scale of the Baltimore one. This time, we went in search of heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and pretty flowers for my birthday party. We found them all - Maryland grown, beautiful and fresh!
We had planned to get crepes for breakfast, but found that crepe prices seem to be on the rise from last season. Instead, we split some yummy fried donuts and a sausage biscuit. Mmm, the best part about sharing is that it's just enough bad food to feel like you got away with something...but not so much that you feel sick and bad about yourself for the whole day. Yum!
Farmers Market - we missed you. And we're back on track with our attendance hopefully!

Hmm, I wish I like tomatoes.
Oooh... Baltimore Farmers Market. I hear Piney Orchard has one, but I have NO clue where it is!!
PS - I will be taking some before and after pictures of the house... becuase it definitely needs some paint and cleaning up. Can you hold off until then? Or do I need to post spoiler pics?
Sheesh, reading your blog could almost make me want to live in the city..... almost. =)I also have a Farmer's Market about 5 minutes from my house but I have never been. I might try and go tomorrow.
