We have done so many fun things in recent years. I thought it may be fun to find a favorite memory each week to blog about.
About a year & a half ago, we volunteered at a Farmer's Market put on by the Living Classrooms Foundation. They run a program there for inner city children called B.U.G.S. (Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students) where the students grow produce, herbs and plants all year and then put on a Farmer's Market in May. At the Farmers Market, they sell plants and products made with the things they've grown (salsa, salad dressing, bag salads, etc.)
We had such a great time spending the day with those kids, and were so impressed with the program. We wanted to volunteer again this year, but it was right at the time Bennet was born. Maybe next year!
