August 26, 2009: Bennet was playing on the back porch while I finished cooking dinner. I guess he was curious about what was going on in the kitchen, because he couldn't stop smooshing his face up against the glass door and spying on me!
August 27, 2009: Bennet and I met Mandy, Cole and Mrs. Joan for coffee at Starbucks. I love getting pictures of the boys together now, so when they're older and best friends, we can look back at them and wonder where the time went!
August 28, 2009: A morning at the Science Center, playing in the Kids Room.
August 29, 2009: Wine and dessert. Our neighbor, Carol, always shares the yummy desserts she bakes with us. She made amazing bread pudding and brought some over for us to enjoy. Mmmm!
August 30, 2009: Daddy tried to teach Bennet to wear his sunglasses on the walk from the house to the car. Bennet isn't a fan of sunglasses yet, but surprisingly, he kept them on for a while - at least long enough to take a picture!
August 31, 2009: Kara and I took the kids to the Maryland Zoo for the morning. We are having a week of beautiful, cool, Fall weather this week, so the weather was absolutely perfect for playing around at the zoo. This was Bennet's first carousel ride. He was scared, but as long as he could hold onto me with one arm, he handled it okay.
September 1, 2009: This is Bennet's latest pose. Hands behind his head, kicked back, relaxing. He does it in the car seat and in the stroller and it cracks me up.
