project 365: week 27

September 30, 2009: Still no progress with getting Bennet to leave the hat from his Brobee Halloween costume on his head. I'm worried that he won't wear it on Halloween. All we can do is keep trying!

October 1, 2009: Bennet and I met Mandy, Cole and Ms. Joan at the mall for lunch. While we were waiting for them to get there, Bennet started checking out the carousel in the food court area. I didn't have any cash on me for him to ride it, but a very nice lady paid for her granddaughter and Bennet to ride together!

October 2, 2009: This was one of Andrew's Fridays off of work, so we took Bennet to the zoo. We are loving the beautiful Fall weather in Baltimore. We packed a picnic lunch and spent a lovely morning exploring the zoo together. Bennet loves looking through the fences in the Children's Zoo to see the ducks.

October 3, 2009: Andrew went out for the night with some of his friends. I wasn't feeling well, but I knew Bennet needed to get out of the house, so we met my mom and grandma for a quick dinner. Here, Bennet waits in the car in the mall parking lot for Grandma and Mommom to get there.

October 4, 2009: Some things never change. Bennet still drives his car backwards through the house, something he's done since he was teeny tiny. I'm not sure when babies learn to drive forward! Sunday was a big laundry day in our house, which explains the dress shirts piled over the chair behind Bennet's head in this picture. Also, check out the drool over his little chest and stomach. He is teething and miserable!

October 5, 2009: Here's Bennet's play area on our fridge. He adores the wooden alphabet letter magnets - you can even see the chew marks on them! He spends lots of time each day taking these magnets and hiding them throughout the house. I always find letters here and there while I'm cleaning. We're sure he's "hidden" all of the letters we can't find in the trash can. At the top, you can see his first ever Sunday School art project, a tree he colored (with lots of help) about the Fruits of the Spirit. I was such a proud momma when he gave it to me when we went to pick him up in his class.

October 6, 2009: Another picture from our trip to the pumpkin farm! We had such a great time. I hope we get to go back again this season!

My sister went and got the costume for me...she didn't go right away, so luckily there was one left when she got there! Weston also rides his little car backwards...he insists on putting only his left leg over the seat, so depending on which side of the car he's on, he'll either ride it forward or backwards.
