project 365: week 34

November 18, 2009: After battling a cold for a few days, I decided it was time to head to CVS to the Minute Clinic to see a doctor. Bennet played with my cell phone in the waiting room - he's really into phones right now. I left the doctor with antibiotics, and was eager to get on the mend!

November 19, 2009: We bought our first turkey to roast for our small group's Thanksgiving pot luck dinner. Here's Andrew getting it ready!

November 20, 2009: Slam dunk! Bennet and I spent some time this morning playing in the back yard with the basketball hoop I found for him on freecycle. He caught on to throwing the ball through the hoop pretty fast!

November 21, 2009: Bennet came down with my cold this week. We spent most of the weekend snuggling on the couch, watching TV and resting.

November 22, 2009: We had our small group friends over for a Thanksgiving pot luck dinner. Andrew roasted his first turkey. It was pretty amazing.

November 23, 2009: Andrew tried to paint over some chair marks on our wall over the weekend. He bought paint that he thought matched the original paint, but it didn't. He went back to the store and tried another paint that appeared to match - it didn't. We're not sure what to do now since I don't want to have to take my Uppercase Living decal off of the wall and paint the whole thing another color. We're at a standstill.

November 24, 2009: Mmmm, cotton candy! Bennet and I met the Smiths at Chuck E. Cheese to have pizza and play. I won lots of tickets playing games, so I used them to get cotton candy for Bennet and Scarlett. Bennet loved his cotton candy. Who can blame him?

Looks like you are enjoying the season. I love your family pictures you posted on Facebook. Here's a suggestion for your wall - you could paint most of the wall except keep a border around your lettering to frame it out. I like both colors and they go well together. I've been painting again too - so much work!

Idea - What if you bought some frame molding and painted it black or white. And made a frame around your current pictures and decal and/or just around the decal. Then you painted the rest of that wall the new color?? See what I mean?

I forget what company... mayeb Lowe's, but they can match any color. YOu could maybe cut a little square of the paint off the wall and take it in to be matched. I'm pretty sure they guarantee it, too. :-)
