One of the projects we did to keep busy in our recent double-blizzard was making Valentines. I sort-of adapted a project I had seen online and combined it with an idea my fantastic art teacher friend, Kara, gave me, and went with it. Bennet had never finger-painted before, so the whole ordeal was extra-fun for him!
First, I had him finger-paint construction paper with Valentines colors. He loved finger-painting!
Once his creations dried, I traced a heart shape to fit in the center of the doilies and cut a heart out of each paper. We then glued the finger-painted heart to the center of the doily.
We added some heart stickers and...Voila! I'm sure the ladies in Bennet's life will be thrilled to receive these super-cute Valentines from such a super-cute boy!
Happy Valentine's Day!
