September 29, 2010: This is the extent of our Little People town now. We started with the barn, and have acquired a construction worker, school bus, safari train and zoo. And, I remembered that my mom bought Bennet the airplane for Christmas this past year, so we added it to the collection!
September 30, 2010: We took a weekend road trip to stay at my Aunt and Uncle's vacation home in Deep Creek! On the way, we made a dinner stop at Wendy's, where Bennet managed to talk us into getting him a Frosty!
October 1, 2010: Bennet all dressed up in his fall attire! The weather was chilly in Deep Creek - it was a nice preview of the fall chill headed our way!
October 2, 2010: We found a free Harvest Festival in Deep Creek, complete with a pumpkin patch! Bennet got to pick out a pumpkin and paint it. After the fall fun, we went to Swallow Falls and saw the waterfalls.
October 3, 2010: Our last day at Deep Creek! It was rainy, so we spent the morning letting Bennet explore the Discovery Center at the State Park. He really started to like black bears after being in Deep Creek for a while! I even bought him a little stuffed animal with a flashlight in its paw for him to take home.
October 4, 2010: I tried Kennedy out with rice cereal for the first time. She liked it, and was all smiles until later in the day when her tummy started hurting. She doesn't seem to be ready for solids yet - maybe we'll try again soon!
October 5, 2010: This was our first full day of Andrew being out of town for work. This is how I spent every night that he was gone - sad, in my jammies, with a glass of wine. I'm so happy he's home. The kids and I both missed him a lot!
